We mainly use the Merlots cultivated with extra care at our captive vineyard "Misawa Vineyard" in Akeno where there are longest hours of sunshine in Japan. Value is put on the fruits original flavor and is been brewed carefully by gentle extraction.

Bright ruby, moderately high viscosity. Pronounced aromas of prune, earth, black pepper, licorice, bitter chocolate, and toastiness. A hint of animal note. Mellow on the palate, dry, concentrated savouriness, rich fruit character and elegant acidity, with refined tannins giving an overall polished impression. Moderately long finish, firm structure with power.
