The programme follows Ayana Misawa, fifth-generation winemaker of Chuo Budoshu, a winery with a heritage spanning over a century. Working with Japan’s indigenous Koshu grape variety, she made history as the first Japanese winemaker to receive a Gold Medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards—an accolade she has gone on to secure for six consecutive years.
